wow its 2010 dudes !
i was on holidays for all these months ! i didn't get a chance to blog !
damn !
nah kidding.. i only left for about 4 weeks.
in DEC, i departed to HK with mummy. baba later joined us. mum took me to all the non-crowdy places in HK :( ! she hates the crowd. I really wanted to go to the places my bro took me last time, but she says it's too 'dangerous'. At least she took me around HK :D . After a few days mucking around my side of the town, we finally went to HONG KONG ISLAND. man that place is dirty ! We later headed down to Zhong Shan (where my dad was raised up) where my parents had a school reunion ! man, my parents friends are COOL !
i've never seen my parents so happy before. they enjoyed themselves so much ! :D
Mid Dec, i met up with chenniii in guangzhou airport to fly to shanghai ! we felt like V I P's.. this lady escorted us to the gates + she had a man that drove us to the gates (those mini buggy mobiles) !! I definitely felt like some sort of celebrity. Before we boarded the plane, we both decidede to go to the toilet, but we couldn't find it. we asked the book shop lady in cantonese, her response ' SHEN ME ?'
we then asked in our fail mando. her response again, 'SHEN ME ? ' .. sigh.. we had no idea what to do then. so we played 'sherades' with her.. if that's the game where you act out the word you are given.. we contemplated doing a squat then looking really constipated .. but that wouldn't be too good >< ! so we just acted out 'the washing of the hands'. she FINALLY understood. the TOILET WAS RIGHT AHEAD. GEEEEz..
the plane was 1 hour late. and chenniii nearly boarded the wrong plane. they ripped of the side part of the boarding pass ! .. i let him go first. in case i made the mistake :D
2 hour plane trip. i was forced to watch 'IRIS' .. the worst drama you could ever watch... kiddings chennii !
jacko picked us up. we were stuck in the insane traffic and finally ate dinner
at some random place. SHANGHAI was FREEZING COLD DUDES ! after driving around the same hotel/building/bank/even people, the drivers did the unthinkable ! they took a left turn ! okay.. that didn't sound epic at all.. but im trying to make this as entertaining as possible alright? xD
SHANGHAI WINTER CAMP ! at 11-ish pm we arrived at the school. and the brisbane ppl were wide awake.. playing cards. chenniii and jacko wrestled for the window bed ! they said that if a rapist came in. the one closest to the door would get raped first ! : / .. i just took the middle bed ! HA !
china camp was an amazing experience ! highly recommended ! despite all the boring lessons of chinese culture/history/etc.. , it was heaps fun meeting new ppl in the Aussie / NZ region. ( we only had aus and nz ppl in our school; the rest were in other schools.. we only saw them when we went on excursions! )
Meila and I found ways to counter the boredom within the classroom. we msned !
okay.. it was 'paper' msn. we tried to make it as 'msn' as possible :P it was heaps fun. we had to draw the convo boxes. and the display picture. etc.. !
There was one night, i will never forget. The memories will haunt me for the rest of my life.. I'm walking up the stairs in an indoor sports centre.. CRAP. i get a cramp while walking up the stairs. (one of the worst cramps i've had) so i sat on the stairs, while everybody sat down on seats and glared in my direction. some nz chick comes up to me and say in a really bitchy tone ' excuse me, i'm about to step on you so could you PLEASE move?' . I answer in my 'best' impersonation of her 'bitchy' tone "ughh.. SORRY. does it look like i can move.? i've got a FRICKEN cramp ! ' she death stares, then releases her anger and frustration with a stomp on MY CRAMPED FOOT !

i stretched my leg out for about 10 mins. walked off the stairs, and to my surprise spotted JYP ! no way! JYP?. u must be thinking :P . yeah it was him alright. he came to CHINA CAMP as a leader for the BRIZZY PEEPS ! (getting my sarcasm?)
he helped me stretch my cramped leg and we had a little chat. played some fun basketball and got elbowed by enlo in the face !
I met cool people in the camp ! Susan, Cathy , Meila, Charlie , Tania , caroline; claudia , kat , celina, whitney (perth) and many others ! you guys are awesome ! :D
chenni, jacko both discovered 'the roof' which soon became known as 'skiing'; code name ! cathy , susan and meila swear the discovered it first ! oh well. anyways, we rebels .. ventured up the roof on christmas eve and were a little too loud. the countdown to christmas was a tiny bit.. JUST a tiny bit loud.. which woke up the boarding master of the school. we were just about to go back to our rooms until matt started shouting 'crap. TEACHER. cover ! take cover ! ' .. we're all like. 'matt, stop playing with us dude ! ' ... "OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII . GET DOWNSTAIRS NOW ! what are you DOING UP HERE AT THIS TIME OF THE NIGHT?"
luckily, she coulnd't see our faces, because it was dark. and we ran downstairs to our floor and hurried to our rooms. luckily i had my keys ! chennii and jacko never brought their keys. SIGH*
we were confronted by teachers the next morning. we apologised. and faced the concequences. any wrong move by any of us, we'd be goners and informed to our parents. oh well it was all worth it !

oo there was a shop over in the school which most of our 'shopping' money went towards !
no one shopped. it was all money on the food ! xD
the last night, we ALl went to the pearl tower ! one of hte most fun nights of my LIFE !
so pumped on that day.. but also sad because it was the last day seeing everybody everyday for 2 weeks ! xD i swear it wasnt 2 weeks.. they just tricked us. by telling us the wrong day of the week ! ): anyways.. we went up to the 176th floor. yeh thats right. i made up a number .. and we walked aroudn to find an available table ! after dinner we took heaps of photos together and just enjoyed our last hours of china camp ! (:)
there's heaps more to write about. but i'll leave it at that. im sure you didnt read all of this anyways xD. hope i can go to china camp this year ! (:)
